Getting to camp
Please ensure all items are clearly named with Scout’s full name so any lost property can be returned at the end of camp.

Full Scout Uniform – to be worn on arrival & departure - WEAR
Sleeping bag
Camping mat
Warm outer jacket
Waterproof jacket and trousers
Trousers and shorts (not jeans)
T shirts
Warm pullovers including at least one fleece layer
Underwear, socks
2 pairs of sturdy footwear - Hiking boots or walking shoes or wellies
Wash bag (inc. personal toiletries) , towel
Dish towel
Plate, Bowl, Cup, Knife, Fork, Spoon - named
Water bottle – ideally 2 one litre bottles
Torch (head torch or hand torch)
Spare polybags (for wet and dirty clothes)
Sun cream
Midge Repellant (optional but recommended)
Swimwear & trainers that can get wet - during water base
Notes:
Penknives - these will not be required at the camp and will be provided by the camp.
Drugs/medication – please hand to the leaders, clearly marked with Scout’s name and dosage, at the start of the camp, except for medication that Scout must have with them at all times, eg. Inhalers
Mobile / Smart Phones, etc. – these will not be required at the camp. We would ask you not to let your Scout bring a phone to the camp. In the case of an emergency please contact the leaders listed below. Any Scouts that are found to be in possession of a phone may have it confiscated and returned at the end of the camp.
We cannot accept responsibility for personal clothing and effects and we are not insured in respect of any such items so please do not bring valuables and ensure all items of clothing and footwear are clearly marked with Scouts full name.
